Ron from Modern Foundations is operating the machine - clearing the original landscaping so we can start footings and foundation. The work will consist of an enlarged garage and kitchen addition on the left and a 40' x 50' indoor sports court on the right side. Check back for updates.

Typical R19 (2x6 wall) batt insulation 16" on center

Air seal package seals along all exterior wall, floor and ceiling seams both vertically and horizontally. Adds for a significant decrease in possible air infiltration.

5.5" Icynene foam insulation in a cold floor above a garage. R30 batt insulation will added to the Icynene Foam. The finished areas above a garage are typically the most difficult to control temperature. Using foam insulation adds significantly to the energy efficiency of these spaces.

Blown in blanket "BIBS" insulation in a typical 2x6 wall. Provides for a R23 exterior wall when compared to a typical R-19 batt insulation.

A netting is stapled across the face of the interior studs and the insulation material in blown into the wall cavity.
